Coach America - comfortable, air-conditioned, adult-sized buses (which kids LOVE) complete with bathrooms.
For 3 days (Sunday - Tuesday), transporting 55 passengers from LA to Sacramento and back, the cost is $3958 (approx. $73/person) which includes gas and mileage. The only extra charge is two night's hotel lodging for the driver. (Our kids are camping in Cool.)
